FREEDOM CARPET AND ORIENTAL RUG CLEANING

We DO NOT treat Orientals the same way we treat wall to wall carpet, unfortunately, a lot of cleaners do.

1. The dry soil is removed from the entire rug (also know as dusting).
2. This rug was saturated in dog urine. It was put in the pit for 24 hours and was completely decontaminated.
3. The rug is shampooed by hand on the front and back. It is then completely rinsed of all residue and excess water.
4. The rug being dried on the drying rack with plenty of air movement. The rugs dry quickly this way and avoids any problems that may occur due to excess drying time.
5. This is the finished rug. Taken from completely saturated in urine and unusable to looking like brand new!

OUR PROCESS:

• Our rug care specialist hand- inspect every inch of your fine rug. From the fringe to the backing. We have invested in a custom made gentle harmonic rug vibrating system. Harmonic system carefully loosens the deep down dirt out of both the front and backing of your rug. This process removes ALL the dry dirt before your rug ever sees any water. This can take between 30 minutes for small rug and up to two hours for larger rugs.
  
  
• Dye testing is done to determine the stability of the dyes used in your rug. There is no way to know if dyes are stable unless they are tested. This also determines how your rug will be cleaned. We test every color of your rug before making our final decision on the cleaning method.
  
  
• Most Rugs will be totally submerged in our wash pit. We use only cool water and Wool safe products to clean your rugs. We then hand wash both the front and back of your rug. This breaks down and flushes out any remaining deep down dirt and dust that is trapped in the rugs fibers and foundation.
  
  
• Now that your rug has been gently shampooed, It's time for the total submersion rinse. This releases any excess residue and makes your rug soft and vibrant as the colors stay bright as possible. We then extract the water out of your rug with our wringers and prepare it for our drying room.
  
  
• We dry most of our rugs on our drying towers with plenty of air movement, however some rugs need to be blocked and dried on a flat surface. These rugs are prone to shrink if not dried properly.
  
  
• The final step is to hand groom your rug so the pile lays smooth, we also at this time wash and groom the fringe which brings it back to its original color (s). This is where we would also put down a carpet protector.
  
  
• We also do urine decontamination (which takes 24 hours), moth proofing, anti allergen applications.
